Is this really StegaStamp? I noticed that the original paper of StegaStamp includes a Spatial Transformer Network as well as lpips_loss and image_loss, but it seems like your implementation doesn't have these. Could you please help me understand this difference?

Hi, sorry for my late response.

We apply several customizations on the StegaStamp. For the Spatial Transformer Network (STN), we instead use simulation layers to improve the robustness against distortion. The lack of lpips_loss and image_loss is because we do not prioritize the image quality during encoder-decoder pertaining (as mentioned in Appendix A.1), instead focusing on training the message recovery ability of the watermark decoder.
