GTA SA: There Is No Function OR Code For "Pickup Visibility"

Hello Seemann..

During using Sanny Builder i've realized that there is no code or function to make ANY pickup visible or invisible. Is it possible to create a code for this?

Other entities do not have "visible" property, so why pickups would?

Pickups are automatically hidden during cut scenes. I think switch_widescreen command controls it.

Well.. there are codes for characters, cars and mission defined objects so almost all elements except pickups have this ability..

so why pickups would?

For example the DYOM modders may have some pickup based missions and they may want to hide the pickups and show it in right tume..

Actually i was curious about the visibility of "Asset" pickups.. According to my logic these type of pickups must be hidden during missions. The game sure hides the icons from the radar but the same hiding must be applied for the pickups..

Hm right.
Pickup render object is actually regular object stored in objects pool. If you get pointer to it you can then try hiding it. but most likely it still will be functional.

Just use commands and destroy the pickup you want to remove.
