Notice of Friendly Hard Fork: turbo_tests2 #83

Description

@pboling

Hey testers,

I worked on a fork that integrated all of the fixes from nearly all open PRs on this repo, retaining their commit authorship in all cases.
#69

In discussions with @ilyazub I learned that this gem is not currently used by SerpAPI. As a result it made sense to hard fork, and continue building on my changes. Regarding the possibility of merging back together in the future - it remains on the table. There's just no reason to do that currently, as everyone is very busy, and time has value.

I'll do my best to support turbo_tests2 going forward, as I use it on all my Ruby open source to speed up test suites. I've added many features, and expanded support back to Ruby 2.4, so we can use it on gems that run tests against that ancient Ruby. I added support for JRuby and truffleruby as well.

It is being extensively tested against the upcoming release of simplecov v1.0.0, currently in release candidate form, and I've already patched multiple issues in both projects to prepare for that.

Thanks for the many years of work on this SerpAPI and @ilyazub!
