How to modify SingleBeamDeploymentCollision.py to extract contact forces and contact point data?

Hi everyone,

I am new to SOFA and currently learning the BeamAdapter example SingleBeamDeploymentCollision.

I can already run the simulation and visualize it in the GUI, but I do not know how to extract the simulation results.

What I want to get is mainly:

• the contact force acting on the guidewire at a given simulation step
• the positions / distribution of the contact points
• if possible, contact-related data over time for later analysis

My main confusion is about the Python scene script itself:

• In SingleBeamDeploymentCollision.py, what components or commands should I add to output such results?
