The following is a set of guidelines for contributing to the contents of the Software Engineering Handbook, which are hosted on software-engineering-handbook.com.
These are mostly guidelines, not rules. Use your best judgment, and feel free to propose changes to this document in a pull request.
This project and everyone participating in it is governed by the Code of Conduct.
By participating, you are expected to uphold this code. Please report unacceptable behavior to uribench@gmail.com.
If you spot a problem in any part of this project, or wish to make a suggestion, open an issue using the repository's issues tab.
There are two extremes of workflows for contributing contents to the Software Engineering Handbook:
- The simple workflow requires almost no initial setup, but is limited
- The advanced workflow requires knowledge of forking and using Git.
The use of anyone of these two workflows, or even a combination of them, is acceptable.
