You cannot publish a package to PyPi with direct URLs. pypi/warehouse#7136

Describe the solution you'd like

Publish this fork to PyPi.

I know you said you guys do not want to be the new maintainer, but there is still no progress on ValvePython and that package is basically broken now since even more game's metadata has dicts now (ref: ValvePython#437). So it would be nice if all of the hard work you put in can be used in more projects.

No other possible solution while still publishing to PyPi

It's planned, and we also plan to take over the original name through PEP 541 at some point, but no timeline when that might happen yet.
