**When did you first start using Linux and why?**

I had been toying with Linux for a long time, but started seriously using it 2000 when I started studying Software Engineering. It seemed much better suited as development system than Windows.

**How long have you been using the [[About|SMGL]] distribution?**

I installed Sorcerer in January 2002, never looked back since then :-)

**What piqued your interest in SMGL initially?**

It's source based and the user has full control over everything.

**What future do you personally see for SMGL?**

World domination ;-)

I'm currently studying Software Engineering at the University of Stuttgart.

**What other OS programs/software have you worked on?**

Tried about every OS I could find for x86 (with the exception of *BSD, don't have a spare box, and since I installed smgl, I don't want to reboot :-)
