Directorist version
Latest
Environment
- WordPress
- Directorist theme installation flow
- Theme installation / Extensions page
Description
Description
During the Directorist theme installation process, the required extensions section is placed very far down on the Extensions page. As a result, users may not realize that they need to install those required extensions to complete setup properly.
There is currently no clear notice or alert at the top of the page telling users to scroll down and install the required extensions. This can easily confuse new users and interrupts the onboarding experience.
I observed this issue while watching a user struggle during setup, and it seems like a UX problem that could affect many first-time users.
Expected behavior:
The required extensions section should be easier to find during theme installation. A better experience would be either:
- move the required extensions section higher on the page, or
- show a clear alert/notice at the top telling users to scroll down and install the required extensions first

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce
- Start installing a Directorist theme
- Go to the Extensions page during the installation process
- Observe that the required extensions section appears far below the initial viewport
- Notice there is no message at the top indicating that required extensions must be installed
- New users may miss the section and get stuck or confused during setup
Isolating the problem
