[Mining] UID 253 em=0 — UnknownSynapseError: MarketSimulationStateUpdate not in public repo

Hey team — SN50 UID 253 (hotkey 5Gpe6x7g...) has em=0 for 2+ days while 247/256 miners earn. My synth-miner logs show
constant UnknownSynapseError: Synapse name 'MarketSimulationStateUpdate' not found. Available synapses ['Synapse', 'Simulation'].

Couple questions:

1. Is MarketSimulationStateUpdate a new synapse validators expect? I checked main/develop/api-changes branches of
   synthdataco/synth-subnet and don't see it anywhere — is the miner-side implementation in a branch I missed, or a
   pre-release?
2. Any other common reason a miner registers Simulation only but gets nothing? I'm on commit 1c3e7fc (Apr 14 Fix realized last price missing #247), .venv Python 3.11, bittensor 9.12.2.
