Assigning Custom Template to Menu Items Does Not Work.

As a Site Admin, on my site has 2 different templates (For e.g JA_Social and JA Charity). I configured the default template as 'JA_Social'. For one single menu item(For e.g Home menu item), I have configured 'JA Charity' template.

So, the output should be like, I click on "Home" menu item for that page should load 'JA Charity' template and for other menu items should load the default template i.e. 'JA_Social'. But it was not working.
