Feature request: Allow the scheduler to also Repeat every _____ minutes

I'm using the app and love it. Thank you.

Right my use-case is to have a particular timer go off every hour between 9am and 6pm every day
this means i need to setup 8 schedules for the same item.

Would it be possible to add a repeat every ___ minutes on every week as well
The would naturally fit your existing UX

Edit Scheduler page >>
Scheduler Name
Timer ....
Action ... (start) or stop
Time ....

Repeat
Repeat Once / Repeat every week / Repeat every several days / Repeat every several minutes (new option)

Within Repeat every several minutes >>>
the user selects the days to run (Mon) (Tues) (Weds)....etc
then user indicates >> repeat every ____ minutes and repeat _____ times

this now enables a time to turn every monday / weds/ friday starting at 9am and repeating every 60 minutes and repeat 10 times (last kick off is at 6pm).

Benefit achieved: This saves the end user scheduling 10 timers every day and getting lost in the list of scheudled items

Schedulers use AlarmManager underneath the hood. However, the background work scheduling on Android is highly unpredictable. Making it work every X minutes probably won't work most of the time, as the system may think the app wakes the phone too often and prevent it from launching to conserve battery life.

I can think of two alternatives:

1. Put the flow into a nine-hour timer.
2. Use Tasker or similar automation apps to loop the timer.

Both options will drain the battery because they keep the phone awake all the time. If the work is critical, I would even consider a traditional alarm clock.

Dewey, thanks for the note. I didn't quite understand the 9 hour timer. Can you explain to me how I would go about doing that. I agree with your point regarding the constant wake ups. In a simple case, you can create a timer with 9 loops and 1 step that lasts 1 hour and contains a Count reminder.

From my experience, this approach is a little impractical because the work usually has to continue for a bit longer after the timer finishes. I end up creating a timer manually after each break.
