new awesome list for tornado & social media presence

Hi,

I just created an awesome list for tornado - https://github.com/joegasewicz/awesome-tornado.

I'm posting it here as there currently doesn't seem to be any social media presence for anything relating to tornado apart from an inactive subreddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/tornadoweb/

Maybe it could be good to have some place to chat about tornado other than here in the github issues? (e.g Discourse).

The most active tornado community is the mailing list, but even that has only had six threads (other than announcements of new Tornado releases) since 2023-01-01. There's also a links page on the github wiki that overlaps with what you're doing here, but that has never been promoted or discoverable.

A little bit of the problem is that mailing lists are out of fashion these days, but realistically, the root cause is that the Tornado community today is small and quiet. It wouldn't do us any good to start up a Discourse site that only gets a few posts a year. Maybe github discussions could be worth trying, since there's nothing really new to set up and it would be more visible right next to the issue tracker.

Github discussion makes sense, I think you can convert this issue straight into a discussion even...

If you don't mind, I'd like to maintain the awesome tornado github repo as like you mention it's going to be more discoverable these days than the tornado wiki page.
Even I didn't know it existed but I'll copy across everything there that's still being maintained as there's a lot of tornado projects no longer active. (Also I'm aware that the tornado way is to just use asyncio libs as well obviously).
