Electronics Bench

Our general electronics benches are equipped with:

• Agilent MSO-X 2014A Mixed Signal Oscilloscope: 100 MHz, 4 Analog Plus 8 Digital Channels
• Agilent 33522A Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generator, 30 MHz
• Agilent 34405A Digital Multimeter, 5½ digit
• Agilent E3631A 80W Triple Output Power Supply, 6V, 5A & ±25V, 1A
• Soldering iron and fume extractor

Surface Mount Bench

In addition to the general electronics equipment, the surface mount (SMT) bench is equipped with:

• Hot air gun
• Board pre-heater and stand
• Stereo microscope

Power Electronics Bench

In addition to the general electronics equipment, the power electronics bench station is equipped with:

• BK Precision 8602 120V / 60A / 250W Programmable DC Electronic Load
• Tektronix AM503B AC/DC Current Probe Amplifier
• High-power DC power supply

Othermill

We also have a small 3-axis CNC mill. It is generally used for milling small FR-1 PCBs.

Fabrication

These tools can be difficult to use! Please be sure to attend a fabrication training and read the documentation before using. Feel free to reach out to a fabrication admin for help.
