To install fedora 43 via Terminal - Open Powershell from microsoft and run: wsl.exe --install FedoraLinux-43 --name Fedora43

X410 - Xserver for windows 11 - So you have a Desktop.
Do you want to seamlessly use Linux GUI apps side by side with Windows

First Install some Programs IP FIX - NOT MUCH TO INSTALL.

Fix IP problem for X410. Cant find screen problem. Look for ip adress in windows terminal / PowerShell: ipconfig

NOTE - Importent to look for ip. Last lines are IP-numbers for WSL in Powershell

GO BACK TO FEDORA 43 Terminal AND COPY AND PASTE THIS IN TERMINAL.

sudo ls -l /etc/resolv.conf
sudo mv /etc/resolv.conf /tmp/resolv.conf.bak
sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver 172.23.144.1 <-- put your ip here and add nameserver.

sudo chattr +i /etc/resolv.conf

NOTE - Run this in terminal Before RESTART.

Old why to start is not working so use: MUTTER_DEBUG_DUMMY_MODE_SPECS=1920x1080 gnome-shell

You can test old way: gnome-session

JUST WAIT IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO START GNOME 49 AND FEDORA 43.

NOTE - if you need to run settnings use this from terminal: env XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME gnome-control-center
