Please consider prioritizing vls (the V Language Server). I believe the team behind such an innovative language is more than capable of delivering a high-quality server to match. In my view, V is one of the most well-designed languages available today—not just for its ease of use, but its performance. In my own benchmarks, I’ve found it to be on par with, or even faster than, Zig.
While the Vlang homepage does a great job highlighting the language's speed and excellence, there seems to be less focus on the language server. Even looking at the roadmap, it’s unclear when a stable version of vls will be ready. A reliable language server is vital for newcomers; it accelerates the learning curve and encourages adoption. I’ve spent significant time trying to set up vls in VS Code and Zed without success. Am I missing something, or is the server currently unstable?
