PHPStorm Plugin

Hello,

I recently came across your project, and my first impression has been very positive. It looks well-structured and promising.

I’ve been developing plugins for IntelliJ IDEA, including PHPStorm, and I’m considering creating a plugin for Volt Test. I believe it could add value to the ecosystem and enhance the developer experience.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Would you be open to discussing potential ideas and integration possibilities?

I'd love to discuss potential features and integration possibilities. Do you have any initial ideas in mind? We could set up a discussion or even a dedicated repo for this.

Sorry for the late answer.

I think it'd have more and more different features over time, such as:

• Run a test by line marker
• Choosing a interpreter to run (docker/local)
• Console raw output / Table view
• Enabling code coverage before running tests
• Showing performance of a code block
• Saving previous results like IDE does in *.http files

Of course with some basic things like code completion / inspections / references.

We can start with the blank page and add these features one by one.

If you share with me some playground with setup tests and little codebase, I'll try to create some basic test runner, like PHPUnit / Codeception have.

As for IDE limitations, I'd limit them to 2023.2+ versions, like MetaStorm has.
