Simulator
X-Plane 12
Aircraft/Add-on
ToLiss A319
ToLiss A320neo
Issue
Wings Bridge appears to fail to detect the X-Plane 12 installation or plugin path.
Because the X-Plane 12 platform path is not detected correctly, the Platform and Aircraft information may remain blank and connected Wingflex devices are not initialized.
The FCU Cube, EFIS Cube, and RMP remain completely blank when using the ToLiss A319 or A320neo in X-Plane 12.
The same hardware and Wings Bridge installation work correctly in MSFS 2024, suggesting that this is primarily an X-Plane 12 path-detection or plugin-initialization issue rather than a hardware fault.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install X-Plane 12.
- Install and launch the latest version of Wings Bridge.
- Launch X-Plane 12.
- Load the ToLiss A319 or A320neo.
- Observe the detected platform and aircraft information in Wings Bridge.
- Observe the FCU Cube, EFIS Cube, and RMP.
Expected Result
Wings Bridge should automatically detect the X-Plane 12 installation and plugin path.
The loaded ToLiss aircraft should be detected, and the FCU Cube, EFIS Cube, and RMP should initialize and display aircraft data.
Actual Result
Wings Bridge does not detect the X-Plane 12 platform or plugin path correctly.
The connected FCU Cube, EFIS Cube, and RMP remain completely blank and do not initialize.
Troubleshooting Attempted
- Reinstalled Wings Bridge
- Restarted the PC
- Confirmed that the same devices work correctly in MSFS 2024
Workaround
No confirmed workaround at this time.
Notes
This report should be included in the X-Plane 12 path-detection meta bug.
The blank devices appear to be a downstream result of Wings Bridge failing to detect or initialize the X-Plane 12 platform and plugin path.
