How to update notepad4 and retain the original settings and other configurations unchanged?

For v26.01 and later, just unzip downloaded zip to existing folder, the zip contains no .ini files (but .ini-default files).
For versions prior v26.01, unzip downloaded zip to a different folder and replace old exe (and locale folder when using i18n zip) with new one.
