fix(auth): resolve invalid Google button width warning and layout misalignment - #774
On the /auth page, a console error was being emitted by Google Identity Services: [GSI_LOGGER]: Provided button width is invalid: 100%
Additionally, because Google rejects percentage values for button width, GIS discarded the parameter and fell back to its default button width (~220px). This left the "Sign in with Google" button narrow and left-aligned compared to the full-width "Sign In With Email" button.
Root Cause
Google's Identity Services (google.accounts.id.renderButton) renders inside an isolated iframe and requires the width property to be a numeric pixel value between 200px and 400px. Passing "100%" fails Google's validation regex.
Changes Made
Dynamic Width Calculation: Clamped the button width to the parent container width (Math.min(Math.max(buttonElement.clientWidth || 384, 200), 400)) in both LoginForm and SignUpForm.
Container Alignment: Added flex justify-center to the container <div> elements (#googleSignInButton and #googleSignUpButton) to ensure visual alignment with the email submit button.
How to Test
Navigate to http://localhost:5173/auth (or /auth while logged out).
Open Browser DevTools Console.
Confirm that [GSI_LOGGER]: Provided button width is invalid: 100% is no longer emitted.
Verify that the Google button is cleanly sized and aligned with the "Sign In With Email" button in both Login and Sign-Up modes.
Checklist
My code follows the code style and guidelines of this project.
I have signed off my commits using -s in compliance with the DCO.
The change produces no new console errors or TypeScript compilation issues.

Summary
Style
Google sign-in and sign-up buttons are centered and adapt to the available width, up to 400 pixels. They scale below 200 pixels when needed to fit narrow containers.
Bug Fixes
Buttons now appear when Google sign-in becomes available, including when it loads after the forms. Button sizing also updates when the container width changes, helping keep the buttons properly fitted.

Walkthrough
The login and sign-up forms now size Google buttons from their containers, observe width changes, and poll for Google Identity Services before rendering.
Changes: Google authentication buttons
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Button sizing and alignment frontend/src/Pages/Authentication/forms.tsx
Both forms measure their button container widths and debounce later changes by 100 ms. They clamp button widths to 200–400 pixels and scale buttons for narrower containers. The buttons render inside centered, overflow-hidden containers.
Google account availability frontend/src/Pages/Authentication/forms.tsx
Both forms poll every 100 ms when Google Identity Services is unavailable and render the button when it becomes available. Cleanup stops polling or cancels the sign-in flow.
No remaining issue was established that should block merging the Google button sizing change after normal checks.

Explanation
G'day. The title names the main change: a fix for the invalid Google button width warning, plus the layout misalignment fix. The raw summary confirms the clamped 200–400 px width logic and the centred containers in LoginForm and SignUpForm, and the PR objectives state the same aim. The title is short, specific and matches the changeset. It is a single sentence under 80 characters, so it meets the title rules.

Closing in favor of prior PR #746 to avoid duplication. The author is welcome to use the ResizeObserver and sub-200px scaling improvements implemented here.
…e script
Move the Google button setup into a shared useGoogleButton hook used by
both the login and sign-up forms:
- Redraw the button at the container's new width when it changes
(ResizeObserver, debounced 100 ms), so it keeps matching the form
after a window resize or phone rotation.
- If the Google script hasn't loaded yet when the form mounts, poll for
it every 100 ms and give up with a console warning after 10 s.
- Initialize Google once per mount; skip redraws when the width is
unchanged.
The resize and script-wait approach is adapted from AOSSIE-Org#774 by
@aryanpatil-07.
