This repository contains a collection of Minecraft datapacks designed to reduce the impact of Random Number Generation (RNG) during speedrun practice. These tools allow you to focus on mechanical consistency and late-game strategies without being held back by unlucky drops.
This pack ensures the Ender Dragon begins its perching phase shortly after you enter The End.
- Mechanism: Triggered by the "Entered the End" advancement.
- Timing: Automatically schedules the perch command to run 30 seconds after arrival.
- Effect: Forces the dragon into the perching state (DragonPhase:2).
Significantly increases the consistency of Blaze Rod drops in the Nether.
- Effect: Each Blaze killed has a flat 85% chance to drop a Blaze Rod.
Overhauls Piglin bartering tables to provide more essential resources and higher quantities of speedrun-critical items.
- Key Drops:
- Ender Pearls: High weight (55) with 6–8 pearls per trade.
- Obsidian: Very high weight (135) for quick portal building.
- String: High weight (60) with 20–24 units per trade.
- Fire Resistance: Increased weight for both standard and splash potions.
Improves the drop rates for apples and sticks from oak leaves to speed up the early game.
- Apples: Boosted drop chances, especially when using tools with Fortune.
- Sticks: Increased drop counts (1–2 per leaf block).
Removes the frustration of gathering flint for tools or portals.
- Effect: Significantly increases the chance of gravel dropping flint.
- Fortune Scaling: Guaranteed flint drops at specific Fortune levels.
- Download the desired datapack folder.
- In Minecraft, navigate to your world folder.
- Place the folder into the
datapacksdirectory. - Type
/reloadin-game to activate.
These datapacks are strictly for practice purposes only. Using these or any other RNG-modifying packs in a competitive environment or for official speedrun submissions is illegal under standard MCSR rules and will result in a rejected run. Use them to sharpen your skills and reduce reset-heavy practice sessions.
