• The forge init --profile, --no-settings, --remove-settings, and --settings-only flags are documented in mintlify/cli/core.mdx, and FORGE_GUARD_STRICT is documented in the environment-variables table in mintlify/cli/overview.mdx.
• The underlying changes shipped in CHANGELOG.md under [0.22.1] - 2026-07-18 (profile collapse to minimal/standard, reversible settings merge, FORGE_GUARD_STRICT, loud failure on a broken settings merge).
• The Changelog tab this PR wires into docs.json already exists on master (mintlify/changelog/overview.mdx) and has since moved on to a newer "July 19, 2026" entry.

Since the content this PR proposes is already released and documented elsewhere, closing to avoid stale/duplicate coverage rather than resolving the conflict. Happy to revisit if there's something here not yet reflected on master.
