A curated, evidence-backed Awesome AI Agent & LLM Stack List for developers building AI assistants, agent workflows, and LLM applications.
Open Source Ai by CodesbyFebin is a searchable catalogue of open-source and source-available AI projects. Explore gateways and LLM routing, chat UIs, local models, inference servers, memory, agent frameworks, coding agents, code review, app builders, RAG, vector databases, evaluation, observability, backends, and templates.
This repository contains catalogue data, comparisons, and tested recipes. It does not bundle upstream code. Each project remains with its maintainers and under its own licence.

git clone https://github.com/CodesbyFebin/Open-Source-Ai
cd Open-Source-Ai/recipes/local-chat
docker compose up -d # Ollama + LiteLLM + Open WebUI, see recipes/local-chat/README.mdA scheduled GitHub Actions workflow checks public repository evidence weekly and proposes changes in a pull request for human review. The report is a periodic snapshot, not real-time monitoring. A failed lookup is not treated as proof that a project has disappeared; check the upstream repository before relying on status or licence information.
The local chat recipe combines Ollama, LiteLLM, and Open WebUI. Its CI smoke test validates the Compose setup and checks that a real prompt receives a response. Recipe pages state their own verification status and limitations, so review them before using a stack.
Does this repository include the projects listed here? No. It links to upstream repositories and provides curated metadata, comparisons, and recipes.
Are all listed projects under the same licence? No. The MIT licence covers this catalogue's own content only. Each upstream project has its own licence; review its linked terms before use.
Is the freshness report live? No. Evidence is refreshed weekly through pull requests. Review the report's dates and upstream links for the latest available evidence.
Edit catalog/projects.yaml (never the generated pages), run python scripts/build.py && python scripts/validate.py, and open a PR. See CONTRIBUTING.md.
