codex-skill-development-workflow

This repo contains a Codex skill I am building around the workflow I currently use to develop other skills.

The public repo name is codex-skill-development-workflow, while the internal skill name is codex-skill-development-local-workflow to avoid confusion with more generic or system-level skill-creation helpers.

That workflow is still evolving substantially. I do not think this is a final or complete answer to skill design. It is simply the structure I currently rely on for things like scope boundaries, staging, provisional installation, testing, review, and patching. Encoding it reduces repeated effort for me.

I am sharing it because I use it. It may or may not be useful to other people. Others may already have workflows that are more efficient or better informed than mine. I am also still learning many parts of skill design myself. But this is real, current practice for me, so I think it is worth putting on GitHub.

If you want the actual skill, start with SKILL.md.
