The knowledge-service source contract in doc/architecture/SPEC/kb_service.md:92-96 limits PR evidence to merged PRs, but the new page's only source, upstream PR #8802, is still open as of this snapshot. Publishing its proposed optimized_execution(False) implementation as an active rule can make future reviews enforce branch-only behavior that may change or never reach main; keep this out of the active knowledge tree until the PR is merged.
