SOURCE is the correct term, not "FILENAME" TARGET is the *FINAL* name of your program, NOT A TEMPORARY ONE "OUT" no longer existed, probably meant to be TARGET don't repeat arguments, $@ means anything before : and $^ means everything after ($< means first after :) uninstall should always exist if there is an install
