👋 Hi, there. Welcome to my GitHub Profile

Profile & Overview

I’m Rorisang Makgana, a third-year applications development student at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and I've been programming for three years, primarily in Java and specializing as a Backend Microservices developer using the SpringBoot framework.

My Current Interests

👀 My current interests are based in: studying a lot about software engineering, and gaining a holistic understanding of a lot of emergine technologies within the tech space; the most recent example of this is gaining exposure to various other frameworks in Java such as Vaadin for creating frontend in pure Java.

  • 🌱 I’m currently learning: Machine Learning, focusing on the Decision Tree algorithm

💞️ I’m looking to collaborate on: various projects this year, as in my third year of study, we are working on a total of four group assignments, which include:

  • a student hub dashboard,
  • a tech-ecommerce platform,
  • a clothing store for high-end luxury goods, and
  • a decision tree algorithm for weather prediction
