A staged README-only change was marked as potentially breaking when an unrelated historical commit contained !:. Explicit comparisons also read HEAD's most recent 25 subjects, which could include unrelated commits or omit relevant subjects from another branch or a longer range.

Read commit subjects only from the selected --commits, --range or --base comparison, without truncating that selection to 25 commits. Working-tree and staged-only summaries use no historical subjects. This also keeps suggested titles aligned with the selected changes. Public API path hints remain available in every mode.

Add eight regression cases covering historical-marker contamination, selected branch/endpoints and a 27-commit comparison. Restore the English quick-start content lost during earlier conflict resolution, document the merged color/save options in both languages, and regenerate the synthetic CLI demo.

Validation: 32 tests passed; all eight new cases fail against the previous implementation. Actual CLI probes confirm color overrides, Markdown file output, and the corrected staged-only result. Publication checks and git diff --check passed.

Follow-up to #8.
