• deploy/helm/cloud-functions/nvcf-api/Chart.yaml appVersion and values.yaml image.tag: 1.28.0 -> 1.28.2. Nothing else changes.
• 1.28.2 carries fix: stop Cassandra index reads stalling while a replica is down #2918. The ncp profile selects RangeReadRetryPolicy, so a range read timeout caused by a dead replica is retried once on another coordinator. Retriable Cassandra failures return 503 with Retry-After (gRPC UNAVAILABLE) instead of a 500 with CQL in it.
• 1.28.1 to 1.28.2 also includes fix(nv-boot-core): keep /info version correct after config refresh #2966 (/info version stays correct after a config refresh).
• The retry only fits inside the 10 s driver timeout together with the 5 s range_request_timeout from Cassandra chart 0.23.2. Stacks should pin both.
• The automated feat(charts): bump chart versions for released services #2947 does not include this bump.

• Merging releases the next cloud-functions chart patch (version: TODO, to be updated once released). The self-managed 1.1 stack then moves its api pin to it in fix(self-managed): backport the NATS reconnect and Cassandra replica-down fixes [self-managed 1.1] #3013, together with Cassandra 0.23.2.

• helm lint deploy/helm/cloud-functions/nvcf-api passes.
• On a self-managed HA setup with Cassandra 0.23.2 and this chart, run function lookup traffic and kill -9 the Cassandra process on one node. Expect no stall longer than about 5 s, and no 500s from read timeouts.
