Welcome to the MATLAB Human Activity Recognition project! This repository is dedicated to the development of an advanced system for analyzing and classifying human activities using MATLAB. Project Overview

Our project involves:

  • Data Collection: Utilizing MATLAB Mobile to gather accelerometer data directly from mobile devices.
  • Feature Extraction: Implementing algorithms in MATLAB to extract meaningful features from raw data.
  • Model Training: Using MATLAB's Classification Learner app to train and evaluate machine learning models.
  • Model Validation: Testing the models with new, unseen data to ensure accuracy and robustness.
  • Application Development: Creating a user-friendly MATLAB application for real-time activity monitoring.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • MATLAB and MATLAB Mobile installed on your device.
  • Access to MATLAB Online with a MathWorks Account.

Installation

  1. Clone this repository to your local machine or download the files.
  2. Open the MATLAB files in your MATLAB environment to explore the project.

Usage

To run the analysis scripts:

  1. Navigate to the directory containing the project files.
  2. Open the .m files with MATLAB.
  3. Run each script to perform the analysis, or use the Classification Learner app for interactive model training.
