What is CFM?

The Composable Fabric Manager ( CFM ) is a software system designed to manage memory composition on a CMA and the host servers. Multiple management interfaces including Redfish and web UI are implemented.

What is a CMA?

A Composable Memory Appliance ( CMA ) is a CXL based pooled memory system with up to 8TiB of memory. The CMA contains a maximum of 8 memory blade and each blade could be connected to 2 host servers. And each host server could connect to multiple memory blades permitted by the host server’s mechanical and electrical design.
