The so-called “Seatbelt” API¹ for sandboxing on macOS was introduced ~macOS 10 but never fully documented and almost immediately deprecated. It seems macOS 27 has finally begun removing it, with the named profiles no longer defined in headers.² This makes compiling the checker on macOS 27 fail. It appears there is no equivalent replacement to this API.³ We could try to work around this by manually constructing a sandbox instead of using a named profile, but it seems even that would be a short-lived solution. The sandbox has not been exclusively seccomp based for a long time.
