Successive pushes to the same PR or branch currently leave older source checks running. Group automatic checks by workflow and PR/ref and cancel superseded work, preserving every trigger, permission, pinned action, check and integration input.
Validation: independent source review, byte comparison after removing the new block, YAML parsing and git diff --check passed. Hosted source checks are required before integration. Cancellation timing and runtime performance are not measured by this change.
