Docs: restore PR60 README wording and preview

Summary

• restore PR60's plain-language README wording on top of the current main
• replace the README preview with the owner-supplied Genesis 001 Lowlands / Wheat Farm inspection screenshot
• retain the screenshot's dated provenance record and asset-license boundary
• keep the current release documentation structure by linking the Alpha 0.3.8 note from CHANGELOG.md

Screenshot replacement

The checked-in README preview now uses the supplied 2000×1264 RGB PNG:

Documentation and one documentation image only. No runtime code, gameplay, authentication, deployment, or production data changes.

PR60 remains untouched, and this draft is not merged. PR #87 and all other PRs remain untouched.

• verify-license-policy.mjs
• verify-file-sizes.mjs
• README local link and image targets checked
• replacement screenshot metadata, byte length, and SHA-256 recorded in the dated provenance record and ASSETS-LICENSE.md

Closed as intentionally declined and obsolete. Merged #90 already restored the concise current README and authorized screenshot; this draft would roll that work back.
