Rewrite the tutorial according to the following principles: - Define the goal and value of a tutorial clearly. - Don't make value judgements such as "simple" or "complex". Present the facts so that the user can form their own judgement. - Provide users with a single straightforward way to complete the tutorial. (When users see options in a tutorial, they have to stop and make decisions, which reduces the tutorial completion rate). - Provide supplementary information and 'further reading' links after actions, not before.
