Do you want to receive Facebook notifications without even opening Facebook? Facebook-Notifications provides you with a Chrome extension, that solves this purpose.
Primary Features:
- There is no need to explicitly log in. If you are logged in to Facebook in Chrome, you can view your notifications, by clicking on the Facebook icon in the address bar.
How to install?
a. Open Terminal and type "git clone https://github.com/chandan5/Facebook-Notifications", or b. Download the repository from https://github.com/chandan5/Facebook-Notifications/archive/master.zip, and extract it. 2. Open chrome://extensions in your Google Chrome or Chromium-based browser. 3. Check "Developer Mode" on the top right. 4. Click on "Load unpacked extension..." button and select the cloned/downloaded folder named Facebook-Notifications. 5. Facebook icon will appear on top right side of your browser (in the address bar, on right).
You are good to go. Click on the icon and view your notifications.
