Covers SECURITY/CONTRIBUTING, Python lock, MariaDB client switch, TSan first run, libbcrypt provenance, the optional docs checker, benchmark refresh, and project-state/release-checklist updates. Plan only; no code, configuration or existing document is changed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>
Security reporting goes through GitHub private channels; the policy records the owner's accepted no-rewrite history disclosure as facts, without printing values or claiming a legal conclusion. CONTRIBUTING documents setup, the no-build Web UI, lockfiles, P1 freeze, branch/PR/review flow and verification. CODE_OF_CONDUCT remains deferred until a reporting channel exists. Both Python packages now carry a CPython 3.12/manylinux PyYAML 6.0.3 lock with the wheel SHA-256. CI installs the locks in a venv with --require-hashes and runs both suites with that interpreter instead of relying on the runner's system PyYAML. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>
Builder installs libmariadb-dev + libmariadb-dev-compat; runtime installs libmariadb3 instead of Oracle libmysqlclient. The image workflow asserts libmariadb.so.3 and no libmysqlclient before running the demo gate. Notices record the factual LGPL client provenance; no legal conclusion is asserted. The previous per-target list missed later-defined test binaries, so gtest discovery ran them without setarch and aborted with "ThreadSanitizer: unexpected memory mapping". Set the CMake CROSSCOMPILING_EMULATOR default before targets are created; TSan then builds and the 52+17 filtered tests run. This is a test-harness-only fix. Add a path argument to the wrk helper and a matrix runner for health 2/4/8 threads x 32/128/512 connections plus DB-backed jobs samples, with pidstat CPU/RSS capture and isolated-stack seeding. Record the 2026-10-21 medians, microbenchmarks, environment and raw-log location; the baseline is explicitly not a threshold. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>
GitHub and git ls-remote are unreachable from this host, so the provenance record states "upstream revision unresolved" and gives a SHA-256 manifest of the vendored sources. No commit or tag is invented; retry from a networked host before publication. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>
The checklist now points to the SECURITY/CONTRIBUTING, lock, MariaDB, TSan, libbcrypt and benchmark evidence, with the new image CI explicitly pending the owner PR. The active plan/project-state record the L4 and the deferred CoC/docs checker; the permanent docs checker remains a maintenance-stage candidate. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>
Re-ran the full health/jobs matrix and microbench in a dedicated window with no other build/test, recording nproc, wrk, uptime/load and the unavailable CPU governor before/after. The release tables now use the clean medians; the remaining ~2.4x gap to the 2026-10-06 health baseline is documented with environment/load/config differences and is not hidden or treated as a threshold.
