[Bug] Authentication SRP error -80046 after entering 2FA code #298
I’m using a MacBook Pro 16-inch (M1, 2021) and recently updated my macOS to version 27.0.1.
A little while ago, I tried to update Dopamine because it wouldn’t open. I downloaded the latest Dopamine IPA (3.0.12) and attempted to install it onto an iPad 11 (M1, 17.3.1) using Impactor (I believe it was version 2.6.0), but I encountered the same error as the original poster.
I thought it might be because I wasn’t using the latest version of Impactor, so I installed the newest version (v2.7.1), but the same error persists.
Having the same issue on mobile AltStore Classic 2.3.1 app (Downloaded via AltStore) when trying to sign in with my Apple ID (ERROR -80046)
iOS 27.0.1
Tried to change servers, Reset Remote AltServer, clear cache and check for updates.
ERROR logs:
Activating the "Prefer Remote AltServer" option causes ERROR -80045, so it is not viable
We know this is an issue with logins, please stop spamming the issue with "same here" with no actual information on helping trying to fix it. It's unhelpful and it clutters issues with fluff.
Looks to be an issue with Anisette, more specifically whatever the default Anisette implementation Impactor and other services (AltStore, SideStore, xtool) use have been resulting in the same issue:
Login fix ! SideStore/SideStore#1683 mentions a "temporary Apple ID / GrandSlam sign-in workaround so SideStore can authenticate again after Apple started rejecting common Mac/Xcode client identities"
Yea @dskooper looks like Jackson Coxson (developer of SideStore) is hosting mac-ani.jkcoxson.com as a provider, which is what xtool uses now. I was able to use it as well to successfully authenticate, so you should just be able to sub it out as the DEFAULT_ANISETTE_URL_V3.
