The demo used fixed 150px boxes and large rem gaps (tree/col 9rem, kids 8rem, diag 6rem) that overflowed narrow viewports, forcing horizontal scroll on phones. Add a max-width:640px media query that shrinks boxes (max-width 46%, auto width), tightens gaps and padding, caps the code cards at 100% width, and wraps the tabs.
