A Chrome extension that hides most Google Street View interface elements so the panorama can be viewed and captured in a clean full-screen view.
This is useful for screenshots, visual reference, or situations where the default Street View interface elements are distracting.
Before CFS-StreetView.
After CFS-StreetView.
- Download CFS-StreetView.rar from the Releases section.
- Extract it to a folder on your computer.
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions. - Enable Developer Mode (top right).
- Click Load unpacked.
- Select the extracted folder.
The extension icon should appear in the Chrome toolbar.
- Clone or download this repository.
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions. - Enable Developer Mode (top right).
- Click Load unpacked.
- Select the repository folder.
- Open Google Maps and enter Street View.
- Click the CFS-StreetView extension icon.
Most interface elements will be hidden.
You can still move through Street View normally:
- drag to look around (pan/tilt)
- use navigation arrows to move
- zoom in/out
Click the extension icon again to restore the interface.
- Press
F11to put the browser into full-screen mode for completely clean screenshots. - If there are lingering elements or a black bar, wait a few seconds.
- If you turn off the extension after turning it on, some elements might not go back right away, refresh the page to get them back.
Google frequently changes the Street View interface. If the extension breaks due to changes in Google Street View, feel free to open an issue.
Pull requests are also welcome if you have a fix.
