Coin Catcher is a classic minigame from the 1980s. It is popularly known as a game – usually 2D – where you control a character and your goal is to collect as many coins as possible before they fall and you lose your lives. Once the player loses 5 lives, the game is over. Even though it seems simple, this game was a huge success back in the day.
To play Coin Catcher, you must have the Windows Operating System, since you will need to run the
main.exe. The available keys are:
- Right Arrow: Move the character to the right
- Left Arrow: Move the character to the left
- Up Arrow/Space: Make the character jump
Important
Important: WASD keys are not supported, only the keys listed above.
To install the game, make sure you have Git installed and clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/flameastro/coin-catcher.gitThen, go to the
buildfolder and run themain.exefile to start the game.
