Addresses #16 (R1/R2/internal). Editorial moves on existing content in choosing_study.qmd only.

  • Generalizability paragraph (R1): Moved the generalizability/boundary-conditions paragraph out of the Uncertainty section, where it disrupted the flow, into the end of the Value section, where it reads naturally as a motivation for replication. Prose kept; only the opening connective and one punctuation mark adjusted to fit the new context.
  • Uncertainty subsection structure (R2): Promoted the ***Theoretical contribution*** and ***Availability of reproductions and replications*** bold-italic pseudo-headings to proper ### subsections under Uncertainty. This matches the book's heading style (other chapters already use ###) and makes the intended enumeration clear.
  • Replication packages forward reference (R2): Added a forward reference from the replication-package mention in the Feasibility section to the "Gathering resources" section that opens the Execution of Reproductions chapter (Chapter 5). Used a resolving markdown link (execution_reproductions.qmd#gathering-resources) rather than @sec-, because that chapter has no {#sec-} label and the scope did not permit editing it.
  • Soto citation (internal): No change needed. The [though not all, e.g., @Soto2019] clause was already removed in commit 60e9e79; current text (line 171) reads only "low replicability rate in many fields" and presents no field as highly replicable, so there is no claim left to qualify and re-adding the citation would have introduced a new citation (out of scope).

Render verified: "Output created", no [?]/?? broken cross-refs or citations, and the forward-reference link resolves to the existing #gathering-resources anchor in the Execution of Reproductions chapter.

Out of scope (other issues): §4.1 (Post-Publication Conversations) move, §3.4 (Researcher Bias) reconsideration.

- Move the generalizability/boundary-conditions paragraph out of Uncertainty into the Value section, where it reads as a motivation for replication (R1).
- Promote the 'Theoretical contribution' and 'Availability of reproductions and replications' pseudo-headings to proper ### subsections under Uncertainty, matching the book's heading style (R2).
- Add a forward reference from the replication-package mention in Feasibility to the Gathering resources section opening the Execution of Reproductions chapter (R2).
- Soto citation already removed in an earlier commit, so no change was needed (the current text no longer presents any field as highly replicable).
