Addresses #19 (R1/R2/R3). Edits to execution_replications.qmd only.

  • 6.2.1 Small Telescopes (R1): rewrote the explanation so the core idea is explicit, the replication is powered to detect the effect the original had only 33% power to find (d33), and the conclusion is about whether the original study could ever have meaningfully detected the effect, not merely whether the replication is significant. Kept the existing Simonsohn (2015) citation and all worked numbers verbatim.
  • 6.2.1 OSC link (R2): connected the approach to the Reproducibility Project: Psychology [@OpenScienceCollab2015] as an interpretive lens for large-scale replication results. Framed as a lens (not as one of OSC's own success criteria, which would be inaccurate, small telescopes was a separate same-year proposal).
  • 6.1 Preregistration (R3): condensed generic 'what preregistration/Registered Reports is' framing and foregrounded what is replication-specific (advance success criteria; reduced bias for/against null findings). No citations removed.
  • 6.3 Changes in methods (R1): added a brief tie to the deductive/inductive framework via a cross-reference to Section 2.3 (@sec-types-replication). Light touch, coordinates with the separate framework-integration task.
  • 6.4 Piloting (R1): rewrote the transition so the two paragraphs read as one argument (strategic piloting decisions, then routine pre-launch checks).

No references.bib change: both OpenScienceCollab2015 (DOI 10.1126/science.aac4716) and Simonsohn2015 already exist. Rendered cleanly ("Output created", no broken citation markers); Simonsohn, OSC, and the Section 2.3 cross-reference all resolve.

Out of scope: Ch7 merge and §6.5 Adversarial Collaborations (handled in other issues).

- 6.2.1: rewrite Small Telescopes to make the d33 / 33%-power logic explicit; keep Simonsohn (2015) cite and worked numbers
- 6.2.1: link the approach to OSC (2015) as an interpretive lens (reused existing OpenScienceCollab2015 key)
- 6.1: tighten generic preregistration prose, emphasise replication-specific success criteria and Registered Reports value
- 6.3: tie 'changes in methods' to the deductive/inductive framework via cross-ref to Section 2.3
- 6.4: rewrite Piloting transition so the two paragraphs flow as one argument
