SQLKit's dark workspace mixed a navy shell, a separate Monaco palette, and inconsistent surfaces. About also showed the Rust crate version rather than the packaged app version. This change coordinates the workspace with a graphite theme, preserves established functional colors, and consolidates application information in General settings.

Changes

• Add shared chrome, selection, readable primary/error text, and semantic feedback tokens. Coordinate Monaco and appearance previews with the active CSS theme while preserving blue primary actions and light/dark/system appearance.
• Preserve original colors for object-tree and toolbar icons, boolean values, key/constraint markers, filters, execution-plan details, permissions, transfer roles, favorites, unsaved markers, and vendor icons. Keep Execute compact and unfilled; distinguish table categories from leaves by glyph while retaining their original hues.
• Move About to the bottom of General, after Account & Plan, and remove the separate About tab and unmaintained Discord entry.
• Read the installed version through Tauri's app API, with a fallback derived from package.json for browser previews. Remove the obsolete Cargo-version command.
• Check for updates on opening General and show pending, current, available, and error states inline. Keep installation behind an explicit Update Now action; preserve skipped-release discovery in Settings even when a startup check is already running.
• Retain accessible names and keyboard focus improvements, document functional-color preservation, and add contrast, editor-theme, version, and updater regression coverage.

Validation

• npm run build passes, with existing bundle-size warnings.
• npm run lint:check passes with one existing utility-order warning in DefaultAvatar.vue.
• npm run test:ci passes: 763 tests across 53 suites.
• Modified Rust files pass a targeted rustfmt check. The repository-wide formatting check reports existing differences in unrelated files.
• Light and dark browser fixtures checked populated results, restored recognition cues, and About placement/version with a simulated updater response. Native updater installation and operating-system checks were not run locally.
