Amazon Sales Data Analysis
This project analyzes Amazon sales data to uncover key business insights such as revenue drivers, seasonal trends, regional performance, and the impact of discounts on product sales.
The analysis was performed using SQL for data exploration and transformation and Microsoft Power BI for interactive dashboard visualization.
Data quality checks were conducted to ensure the dataset contained no duplicates, null values, or blank records. Several calculated metrics were created, including final price after discount, total revenue per transaction, seasonal sales classification, and rating-based product segmentation.
Key insights from the analysis revealed that Beauty products generate the highest revenue, while Home & Kitchen products produce the highest average order value. Regional analysis shows strong demand in the Middle East, and seasonal trends highlight increased summer sales for beauty products.
The Power BI dashboard provides an interactive view of sales performance with KPIs, revenue trends, category performance, regional analysis, and payment method filtering.
