Please confirm this pull request meets the following requirements:

Which change are you proposing?

  • Suggesting edits to an existing topic or collection
  • Curating a new topic or collection
  • Something that does not neatly fit into the binary options above

Curating a new topic or collection

  • I've formatted my changes as a new folder directory, named for the topic or collection as it appears in the URL on GitHub (e.g. https://github.com/topics/master-skill)
  • My folder contains a *.png image (if applicable) and index.md
  • All required fields in my index.md conform to the Style Guide and API docs: https://github.com/github/explore/tree/main/docs

master-skill describes meta-skills that distill an entire industry into a single Claude Code SKILL.md — packaging a domain's top primary sources plus the reasoning patterns of representative practitioners so an AI agent can answer at expert level after loading one file.

The pattern is emerging in the Claude Code / Hermit Agent / OpenClaw ecosystem: a meta-skill produces per-industry skills, each pre-loaded with curated sub-skills (one per influential figure in that field) and an installable distribution pipeline. As more authors publish industry-specific master skills, a shared topic helps users discover them across owners.

I author the swaylq/master-skill reference implementation in github_url. The submission is intended to curate the topic for the broader space rather than promote a single repo — the index.md body and related topics frame master-skill as a category, not just one project. Logo is 288x288 PNG, ~10 KB; metadata follows the alphabetical-frontmatter convention used by sibling topics (e.g. topics/react/index.md).

Adding a few notes for human review, in case it helps:

  • The reference implementation (swaylq/master-skill) is fully functional — bilingual README (26K + 28K), 33KB SKILL.md, defined ROADMAP, MIT. The canonical browsable index lives at master-skill.org (Next.js-hosted, public).
  • Master Skill is intentionally framed as a category abstraction. It sits in a documented Claude Code lineage: colleague-skill (single-person distillation) → nuwa-skill (thinking-pattern distillation) → master-skill (industry-level distillation). The pattern produces generators of skills, not skills themselves, which the existing topics (claude-code, claude-skill, ai-agent) do not capture.
  • Just pushed a small refinement to index.md: added aliases (master.skill, master-os-skill, 大师.skill) and a released field, to align with sibling topics like react/algorithm.
  • Happy to rework framing, add more aliases, or withdraw if maintainers prefer to wait for more independent adopters. Whatever is most useful.
