While you're at it 😄 could you also add the new badge to the repo page & the organization page?
I like this one DPG Badge

I changed our SVG, so those should automatically be updated. I was thinking about that badge, but it is ambiguous if that one is CC 0 or something that would require attribution. (Although perhaps one could argue it is not over the originality threshold.)

The contrast ends up being rather bad, do they happen to have a variant for dark backgrounds?

Oh, this is a mistake by me. I was aiming to use the white one also added in this PR. Let me clean this up.

The contrast ends up being rather bad, do they happen to have a variant for dark backgrounds?

Or wait. @Abbe98 Where is the contrast low? This PR is using the white version in the footer.
