This plan outlines critical, high-priority, and nice-to-have improvements needed to prepare hpm for a stable 1.0.0 release, including: - P1 Critical: SHA256 integrity verification, version consistency, integration tests - P2 High: Interactive init, progress indicators, better errors, CI/CD - P3 Medium: Scoped packages, parallel downloads, audit command, info command - P4 Future: Workspaces, plugins, private registries, performance optimizations
