Summary

Prepares v0.4.0. No code change.

  • Project.toml: 0.3.0 → 0.4.0.
  • CITATION.cff: adds version: 0.4.0 and date-released: 2026-10-20.
  • README and the source header no longer call EchoAggregation "unreleased".

Why 0.4.0 and not 0.3.0

Project.toml already said 0.3.0, but the tags stop at v0.2.0: v0.3.0 was never tagged. Its content (the Tier-3 audience spine, 258 assertions) ships in v0.4.0 together with EchoAggregation, which is a new module. The README status paragraph says so.

Readiness

After merge

The tag is the owner's to push (signed, annotated, admin bypass of the tag rule):

git tag -s -a v0.4.0 -m "EchoTypes.jl v0.4.0 — adds EchoAggregation" <merge-commit-sha>
git push origin v0.4.0

Generated by Claude Code

Bump Project.toml to 0.4.0 and record version and release date in
CITATION.cff. v0.3.0 was never tagged on its own (Project.toml already said
0.3.0 but the tags stop at v0.2.0), so its content ships here together with
EchoAggregation; the README now says so and no longer calls EchoAggregation
unreleased.

No code change. 302 of 302 assertions pass. The tag is the owner's to push.

P2 Badge Update the canonical wiki for v0.4.0

Declaring v0.4.0 current leaves the repository's canonical wiki inconsistent with the release: wiki/Home.md still calls v0.3.0 the current pin and reports 15 modules, 19 testsets, and 258 assertions, while wiki/Exercises.md likewise identifies v0.3.0 as current. When wiki/*.md is published using the documented sync process, users will therefore see obsolete release and coverage information and no EchoAggregation entry; update those canonical wiki pages as part of this version bump.

Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.

wiki/Home.md and wiki/Exercises.md still called v0.3.0 the current pin and
reported 15 modules, 19 testsets and 258 assertions. They now name v0.4.0,
add the EchoAggregation row, and report 16 modules, 21 testsets and 302
assertions, with the two source-of-truth pins (eed4250 and 703dd77).
