actions/create-release@v1 and actions/upload-release-asset@v1 are archived. The v0.14.1 release run warned that they target Node.js 20 (now forced onto Node.js 24) and use the deprecated set-output command, which GitHub will disable.

This replaces them with a single gh release create step, using the gh CLI preinstalled on the runner. No third-party action is added.

  • The release is titled with the tag name (for example v0.14.1), with empty notes, as before.
  • --verify-tag aborts if the tag does not exist on the remote.
  • manifest.yaml and bin/cloudstack-csi-sc-syncer are uploaded in the same command. The artifact download now runs before the release is created, so a failed download no longer leaves a release without assets.
  • The leftover ls -l debug step is removed.

The asset content types are now set by gh from the file name, not set explicitly.

Not tested in CI yet: this job only runs on v* tags. The next release will exercise it.

actions/create-release and actions/upload-release-asset are archived.
They target Node.js 20 and use the deprecated set-output command, which
GitHub will disable. Create the release and upload both assets with the
gh CLI that ships on the runner instead.

This also drops the leftover ls -l debug step.
