This removes the obsolete Travis CI configuration and its Travis-specific release packaging script.
The project already uses GitHub Actions for CI/CD via .github/workflows/ci.yml, including release archive creation for version tags. Keeping the old Travis configuration and helper script may be confusing for contributors because they suggest that Travis CI is still part of the active build setup.
